I just graduated this past May from the University of North Georgia with my teaching degree and I am so excited to be teaching at NLAE this year!

I will be teaching K-8 Math as a Resource teacher.

Weekly Focus


2nd Grade & 3rd Grade:
Exchange equivalent values of coins by making fair trades involving combinations of pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters and count out a combination needed to purchase items less than a dollar.
4th Grade:
Adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers to solve one-step and two-step word problems.
5th Grade:
Solve multiplication and division word problems involving the multiplicative comparison using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem, distinguishing multiplicative comparison from additive comparison.
6th Grade:
