What Happened This Week!

WE DID IT! YAY! EVERYONE did a wonderful job during the graduation -- I am so proud of all our students. They worked very hard and it showed. Everyone performed their part perfectly!

I would like to take this time to thank every single one of you for all your support this year.  I could not have done it without you. Whether it was helping during class party, coming on a field trip, or just spending that extra time to help your child with their homework -- it has made a huge difference. There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child -- truly, you have been the supportive community that helped raise all 24 of our Kindergartners this year.

You are the reason I have hope for the future!

What’s Coming Up:

Over the summer, it's easy to sit back and lose focus! Make sure to keep reading and writing daily and practicing sight words! As a special treat, students who prove that they have read 50(!) books over the summer (try keeping a booklog) can come by my classroom on the first day and get a treat! Keep reading strong through the season!

The true measure of any community is in its investment in the future. Our children are our investment -- and I know we will reap many gains in the years to come! Once more, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for a wonderful year!

love,
Ms. Siak
